OUR 360-DEGREE APPROACH

  • DIRECT CARE
Tragically, many young victims are homeless before being trafficked, so they often have no place to go after escaping the bonds of modern slavery. That’s why so many of these young people find their way to Covenant House where they are given a safe place to sleep, nourishing food, clean clothes and extensive social services by dedicated and caring professionals.
  • ADVOCACY
Covenant House is proud to be part of the strongest anti-trafficking coalition in the United States. We bring to the table, years of experience providing direct care to survivors which allows us to identify the specific needs of this incredibly vulnerable population… and be a powerful voice for funding and services.
  • RESEARCH
Covenant House recently partnered with Applied Developmental Psychology Department at Fordham University to help us develop and scientifically validate a screening tool to better identify trafficking victims among our youth. Our research findings also allowed us to learn more about the type and amount of trafficking our youth have experienced to better inform both our practice and our advocacy.
  • IMPACT
Direct care allows us to make the greatest impact in the lives of young trafficking survivors. But providing direct care also fuels ground-breaking research which makes us better advocates for service, funding and laws that protect children. Each area of our work is important… but together, they are a powerful force in the fight to end human trafficking.
